If you do not need the Proform software, the website or Data Export, RaceMetrics Pro at £75 a month covers the analytics side on its own.
Data Export — your own CSV files
Pick a date range, the countries and race types you want, and the columns you want — then take the file away. Results cover UK and Irish racing from 1 January 2018, and declarations cover today and the next two days.
- Around 150 columns to choose from, grouped — race conditions, horse, market and prices, Proform ratings, RaceMetrics ratings, RMP, connections, records and breeding.
- A results and declarations file every morning, if you want it standing.
- Big pulls run in the background and email you the link when the file is ready.
The Windows software has its own exporter alongside it — race, runner and calculated fields by the hundred, saved tick-lists you can re-run, an auto-export on a timer, and sectional data as its own export.
Getting your own data out is the single biggest reason members hold Premium rather than Pro — Data Export is Premium only, on the website and in the software.
The Windows software
The research engine professional analysts have used for over two decades, and the half of Premium that no browser plan includes. It runs on your own machine against the full history — and the reason most members hold Premium rather than Pro is that it lets them take the data out.
Take the whole database with you
- • Hundreds of fields across race data, runner data and calculated data — tick what you want.
- • Save a tick-list and re-run it; set an auto-export to run on a timer.
- • Restrict by date range, course, country and race type before you export.
- • Sectional data exports on its own, furlong by furlong, when you hold the add-on.
The counts down the left are the races on file, year by year.
The race card. Every runner with ratings, pace, draw and course-and-distance statistics, and the prior form for the whole field underneath — the same read you get on RaceMetrics, laid out the way the desktop does it.
The desktop System Builder. The original, with its own filter tabs for ratings, classifications, breeding, sectionals and price movements — and reports you can run across every saved system at once.
The Pattern Matcher. One horse's whole record broken out at once — by course, distance, race type, going, actual going, weight, class and field size — so the conditions it actually goes well in show themselves.
Sectional timing — the optional add-on
Every furlong timed, on both the desktop software and RaceMetrics: split times, finishing speed against the race par, stride length and cadence, predicted running styles and the pace picture across a whole meeting. Thirteen analysis tabs, and the same views in the Windows software.
Sectionals are an add-on, not part of Premium. Two ways to take it on top of a Premium subscription:
- • £50 a month on RaceMetrics — the full history on screen, no upfront year, no bulk export.
- • £50 a month with export, first year paid up front (£600) — required by Total Performance Data because the data can be exported.

Pro or Premium — which do you need?
The short version: if you want the Windows software, the Proform website or Data Export, you want Premium. If you only want the analytics and you are happy in a browser, RaceMetrics Pro at £75 a month covers it — and everything in Pro is already inside Premium, so there is never a reason to hold both.
