Who can use it: RaceMetrics Pro and Proform Premium members.
What is Ratings Analysis?
Build your own composite rating from 12 source ratings, save it as a named system, backtest it over thousands of historical races, and export past qualifiers as CSV for import into ProForm. This is the beginning of the web-era equivalent of the Proforms system builder, fully integrated with RaceMetrics’ live data.
The twelve source ratings are Power, the seven RaceMetrics ratings (Horse, Trainer, Jockey, Sire, Dam, Damsire, Owner), Combined Score, AI Rating, Future Form and Collateral — each stored alongside the runner’s within-race rank. Weight them however you like to produce your own composite score, filter the field with per-rating thresholds and race / runner conditions, and save your favourite setups as named systems to pull up on any race. The exported CSV drops straight into Proform as a User Rating, ready for the full Proform System Builder.
Where to find it
Open any race → click the Ratings Analysis tab at the top of the racecard popup (alongside Ratings, Form Expert, Future Form etc.).
Key features
- 12-rating combine bar — one weight slider per rating, in two rows. Sliders use z-score normalisation so you can mix any ratings regardless of scale.
- Saved systems — name and reuse any weight + filter setup across every race.
- Filters — per-rating thresholds (Top N rank, min value, clear-by margin), runner conditions (age, draw, DSLR, headgear, price range), race conditions (class, distance, field size, going, race type, handicap).
- Backtest — date range + price field (BSP / ISP / Morning / Breakfast / Evening), Weighted or Top-rating selection mode (tie-aware), group breakdowns by year / class / course / distance / going / race type.
- Forward Qualifiers — the same system applied to upcoming races, so today’s and tomorrow’s selections fall out automatically.
- Configurable CSV export — the five core columns are always exported (ProForm User Rating compatible), and you can tick extras for rating values, ranks, runner context, prices and settlement data.
- Proform User Rating import — the exported CSV lands directly into one of Proform’s six User Rating slots so the full Proform System Builder can be pointed at your RaceMetrics-built score.
