A member asked us whether they could see a year of sectionals for one horse, or only race by race. The answer is better than a year: every run the horse has had, in one table, and one click to download it.
Every run in one table
Open the horse's profile and click the Runs card. That brings up every run in its form, newest first. Click Sectionals and the right-hand columns swap to the sectional read of each run, all the way down the page.
Each colour bar is one race, split into its sections: green is quicker than par, red is slower. Hover over a bar and you get every section of that race against par, to a hundredth of a second.
Why some runs show dashes
A whole row of dashes means the race was run before the course was tracked. Coverage began at a handful of British courses in 2018, and every British course has been covered since 2024. A dash only under stride and cadence means the race was timed, but the strides weren't measured.
The download
Click Export CSV and you get one row per run, with the sectional figures beside the form: finishing speed two furlongs out, one out and at the line, places gained, the upgrade, stride length and cadence. The section-by-section breakdown stays on screen, in the hover on each bar.
Who can use it
The all-runs view is part of RaceMetrics Pro and Proform Premium, and its sectional columns need a sectionals package. To download the sectional figures, you need Full Sectionals on Proform Premium. More on sectionals on RaceMetrics, and the plans.
