The same owner can race under more than one name. J P McManus, for example, has one name on his British runners and another on his Irish runners, and partnerships and syndicates are often written slightly differently from one card to the next. In the standard Owner breakdown that splits one owner across several rows, so no single row tells the whole story.
Owner (spellings combined) is a second owner table that joins those names into one row: every run, every winner and every return at Betfair SP together. Partnerships written with a slash on one card and "and" on another are joined the same way. The original Owner table is still there, unchanged, beside it.
How to use it
Run a system, open Breakdowns and choose the Connections tab. Owner (spellings combined) sits under the Owner table. Click + rule on any row to add that owner to your system, and the back-test gives you exactly that row back, with no adding up by hand.
The System Builder is part of RaceMetrics Pro and Proform Premium: racemetrics.co.uk/system-builder.
