Is it really free to enter?

Yes! RM7 is completely free to enter. No purchase, subscription, or payment is ever required. All registered users aged 18+ can enter every week.

What are RaceMetrics Ratings?

RaceMetrics Ratings are our proprietary performance ratings that track form across horses, trainers, jockeys, owners, and bloodlines. Ratings go up when participants perform well and down when they underperform. The system rewards consistent excellence.

How does the 10,500 budget work?

Each participant costs their current RaceMetrics Rating. Higher-rated participants are more expensive but are expected to perform well. Lower-rated picks cost less but might deliver bigger gains if they improve. Your 7 selections must total 10,500 points or less.

What is cross-contamination?

To keep the competition fair, you cannot select a horse AND any of its direct connections (trainer, sire, dam, damsire, or owner). This prevents one runner from counting multiple times toward your score.

When does the competition run?

Each competition runs from Tuesday to Sunday. Entries close 10 minutes before the first race on Tuesday. Results are finalized on Monday morning when the final ratings are processed.

Can I change my picks after entering?

No, once you submit your entry, your 7 picks are locked for the week. Make sure you're happy with your selections before clicking Submit.

How are prizes paid?

Prize money is paid directly to winners via bank transfer. After results are finalized, we'll contact winners to arrange payment.
